Shargeek Launches loomos AI Glasses at CES 2025

Thanks to netizen MagicKong for submitting the clue! On January 8th, Shargeek launched a new overseas sub-brand, loomos, at CES 2025 and introduced the new product, loomos AI glasses. It is noted that in terms of hardware configuration and special features, the loomos AI glasses basically have the same configuration as the domestic version of Shargeek AI ‘PaiPai Mirror’, supporting 4K photos and 1080P video shooting.
Unlike the domestic version which is equipped with large models such as iFLYTEK, Intellifusion, and Tongyi Qianwen, the loomos AI glasses will obtain instant help from a voice assistant driven by GPT-4o, such as text translation, object recognition, memory of parking spaces, and information retrieval.

It is understood that the loomos AI glasses will be launched on the Kickstarter platform for crowdfunding around January 21st. The official also revealed that branch companies will be established in North America and Europe and other regions to promote the breakthrough of Shargeek AI glasses business in the global market.

In terms of product styling and wearing, Shargeek AI ‘PaiPai Mirror’ collaborates with eyewear brand LOHO for a co-branded appearance design. The ergonomic design is carried out in combination with the facial features of Asians, and humanized designs such as spring temple arms and insensitive air cushion nose pads are introduced to achieve ‘comfortable without pressing on the face or the bridge of the nose’. The whole product weighs about 50g. It also provides multiple magnetic sunglass lenses and gives away a magnetic front frame that can cover the camera.

In terms of battery life, Shargeek AI ‘PaiPai Mirror’ has three built-in batteries with a total capacity of 450mAh. It adopts a Pogo-Pin magnetic interface and supports wearing while charging.

In terms of shooting, the product is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera from Sony. For the first time on the AI glasses end, it realizes functions such as 16-megapixel full-resolution photo quality, low-power video anti-shake of the 16-megapixel camera, and 123 ultra-wide-angle simulating human eye perspective.

This product is equipped with Unisoc Tiger T517 chip, adopts a storage combination of 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and has a 4-core CPU. Based on this chip platform, Shargeek also launches its self-developed AI glasses platform architecture – Yingtong 1.0, supporting a series of services such as all-weather wearing, unlimited long-lasting battery life, independent use of mobile phones, and expandable upgrades.

In terms of acoustics, Shargeek and the AAC AAC Technologies team jointly tune the comprehensive sound field of ‘PaiPai Mirror’. The product debuts AAC’s ultra-linear Hi-Fi speaker, supports dual DSP independent power amplifiers, can provide high-fidelity two-channel stereo sound, and has dual AI algorithms of low-frequency enhancement and dynamic EQ.

Furthermore, the product will later offer Hi-Fi grade wireless audio streaming, allowing music to be downloaded via Wi-Fi for lossless playback similar to Apple HomePod. In terms of software and AI, the Shange AI ‘Pat Pat Mirror’ is equipped with Shange’s self-developed AI memory system — Loomo OS (Chinese name: Lu Mu). This system integrates AI cloud storage, AI flash memory, Agent Store, cloud AI center, data security system, Hi Shange services, allowing for the recording, storage, and multi-device synchronization of multimodal data such as user’s audio, text, and images.

With the built-in AI app store, the glasses can flexibly access various AI capabilities. Regarding cloud AI services, Shange ‘Pat Pat Mirror’ has already or will soon connect with over ten domestic large model manufacturers including Yuntian Lifei, Xunfeixinghuo, Tongyi Qianwen, Kimi, and Zhi Pu. By processing the images or video data captured by the glasses’ camera through AI large models, the device supports object recognition, text translation, memory and query of parking spaces, calorie calculation, cooking guidance, and more.
