Pimax Launches Dream Air VR Headset with Eye Tracking and HDR

On December 24th, the manufacturer Pimax introduced a VR headset named Dream Air. Its most notable features include eye tracking, HDR support, and automatic adjustment of the headband. Priced at $1900 (approximately 13876 RMB), it is set to be released in the first quarter of 2025.
This headset is somewhat reminiscent of Apple’s Vision Pro in its design, weighing in at 200 grams and equipped with a single-eye 3840×3352 resolution 90Hz OLED panel that supports HDR. The FOV is 102 degrees, and it supports automatic IPD adjustment, eye tracking, and automatic headband adjustment, similar to the Nike Adapt BB sneakers.

Officially, the Dream Air headset will also support an optional purchase of an integrated Snapdragon XR2 computing unit, turning the headset into a standalone VR device. Currently, it is primarily used as a PC VR headset.
